I’m proud to announce that two of my patterns have been published in the Fall 2012 issue of Jane Austen Knits from Interweave Press! A Sensible Shawl and Northanger Abbey Mittens will soon be available in print (any day now!!!) and are immediately available for digital download from Interweave’s online store. Designing with Jane in mind was a ton of fun, and I’m honored to have been included in this special edition issue — and I was blown away by their photography!

At the same time, I’ve been very busy working with Eileen Testo of Weston Hill Farm (Westerlo, NY), designing a special trio of knitted accessories in her gorgeous Cottage Spun yarns. Eileen and her husband Chris raise and shear their own sheep, send the fleece to a nearby mill for processing, and do all of the dyeing on their farm. The resulting collection is truly a celebration of local fiber, yarn, and design! We’re debuting the patterns at the NYS Sheep & Wool Festival in Rhinebeck — so run straight to see Weston Hill Farm in Building A, Booths 42-43! After the festival the patterns will be available for download on ravelry and etsy. Eileen and Chris are incredibly encouraging and supportive of other artists, and I feel so fortunate to be collaborating with them!
